? Particle baits consist of practically all beans, peas, nuts, seeds and pulses Particles can be used by all

coarse anglers

and are a favourite with anglers when carp or

barbel fishing

. Ideal for pre-baiting, spodding or as a hookbait.

Carp Fishing: What are particles in carp fishing

The term “Particles” generally refers to any seed, tuber, legume, nut or manmade pellet that is used for bait , whether used on the hook/hair or as a ground bait/chum medium. The pellets such as Trout Chow, Trout pellets, Halibut pellets, Pakka Pellets (Calf Manna) and Range Cubes etc.

How long will particle bait last?

Prepared particles Store in the freezer, these will last for approx 4-8 days without freezing, dependent on weather. Submerge in water will make them last longer.

Do carp like particles?

Particles are natural, nutritious, extremely cheap and, best of all, carp absolutely love them !.

Do carp like fermented bait?

Carp simply love them They will seek every one out, and if fermented, they can produce a nice cloud. An excellent big-carp bait, particularly if the fish are shy. How do you use them?.

Why do you soak boilies?


Boilies:

By pre-soaking your boilies you have already given them a drink so to speak and any flavour which has leaked out into the water is naturally seeping back into the bait too Fire these out when they are already full of liquid and they aren’t going to become quite so tainted as baiting up with fresh baits.

Can you take particles to France?


Particles:

No. Currently you are NOT allowed to take Boilies to France Since leaving the EU you can NOT bring any meat or

dairy products

into France or other EU countries, from outside the EU. This includes boilies.

Can you freeze particles for fishing?


Particles:

Once you receive your order we suggest that our particle will last 5/7 days out of the freezer before it begins to turn, if you need to keep the particle for longer then please store it in a freezer.

Best Bait: What is the best bait for carp

As above, Sweet corn and bread are two of the best baits to use for carp but nightcrawlers (earthworms) are excellent as well. For bigger fish and longer fishing sessions hard boiled baits or ‘boilies’ as they are known are excellent to use on a hair rig. They really do tend to catch the bigger fish.

Mix all the ingredients well and add the drained chickpeas then mix everything together and let the chickpeas soak the dip for at least an hour before fishing (even better 24 hours). If you do not have time to prepare chickpeas or you run out of dried you can still buy canned.

Carp can be caught on a wide array of baits, but one of the more effective is made using millet, flour and wheat bran to form a dough bait The bait is compact enough to stay on the hook for several minutes and casts well.

Ferment Maize: How do you

Soak it overnight then simmer it until it turns soft. Then soak it for at least 10 days in a warmish place You can add yeast, but the wild yeasts in the atmosphere will invade the maize and fermentation will take place. At this period use it on the hook hair rigged.

Ferment Boilies: How do you ferment boilies

Brewers Yeast is only really good for about two years for fermenting purposes and to activate your Yeast simply take 30ml of warm water (NOT BOILING) dissolve 1tsp of granulated sugar into it then stir in 2tsp Brewers Yeast, cover with. Cloth and wait 10 minutes.
