In the post that I’m going to publish on my blog today, which will be labeled with the heading What Is Sspca Rehoming Fee?, I’m going to talk about the following topic. We do ask for a rehoming fee for all animals we rehome as this helps us cover the costs of caring for them, including neutering, other veterinary fees, food and microchipping. It costs us over £42,000 per day to look after the thousands of animals we care for across our nine rescue and rehoming centres.

Our nine animal rescue and
rehoming centres
are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to our receptions, which will be open from 1pm to 4pm daily, for the first time since early 2020 Members of the public will be able to chat to the team, drop in donations or get help with filling in their rehoming applications.

Currently there is no law that requires you to stop after hitting a cat on the road.
How long can you leave a cat alone RSPCA?
3 hours is the maximum amount of time a
young kitten
should be left alone, so we do not rehome single kittens to full time workers where no-one is at home for long periods during the day. If you are a full time worker you need to adopt two kittens or a cat above neutering age.
Can RSPCA tell you who reported you?

personal information
held by the RSPCA. Please note that a SAR only allows you to see your own data and not anyone else’s, for example, the person who reported you.
How long can you leave a dog alone RSPCA?

The SPCA does not charge for animals to be surrendered, however, donations are welcome. For assistance, kindly contact your local SPCA.

to claim their pet back If the dog or cat is not claimed by the owner, it is then put up for adoption, subject to certain conditions. It is then vaccinated and de-wormed and after another 14 days it is put up for adoption.

Families living in a home without a garden where the cat will be totally kept indoors only should seriously consider waiting until children are older , as unless the flat is particularly spacious there are usually limited places where a cat can find peace and quiet.

Surrender A Pet If you feel that surrendering your dog or cat is the right choice for you, we recommend phoning Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home on 0131 669 5331 first, so our staff can talk you through the surrendering process. We also understand that surrendering a pet may be the result of personal crisis.
